The Daily Acca: Hammers to be left singing the Blues

The Daily Acca: Hammers to be left singing the Blues

Chievo’s struggles to continue

Bet 1: Back Bologna @ 4/9 – KO 19:30 BST

It is not often that Bologna would be odds-on for a match, let alone, as short as they are, but despite their price, I still feel that there is a hint of value in it.

That is largely because their opponents are Chievo – a team who are well adrift at the bottom, with just 11 points to their name this season.

The visitors are yet to win in 2019, and their record away from home this term is played 15, drawn six and lost nine – with four of the draws coming pre-Christmas.

Bologna are fighting for their own survival, and they currently occupy the final relegation place. They have rallied of late however, winning three of their last four – including their two most recent outings on this ground.

Risk reward to pay off in France

Bet 2: Back BTTS in Chateauroux v Lens @ 11/10 – KO 19:45 BST

This is a French second tier fixture that will hopefully have goals at both ends.

The hosts are down in 16th and have now gone six without a win. They are only one point clear of the drop zone, although they do have this game in hand.

Lens meanwhile are in sixth and are pushing for promotion. A victory this evening would see them go level on points with Troyes in fifth, and third to fifth go into the Play-offs.

That should set us up nicely for both teams to be quite attacking in their quest to win and secure the points. Regardless of that, four of Chateauroux’s last five at home have seen this selection land, and while the visitors have struggled for goals on the road, they are taking on an out-of-form team.

Sarri to get the better of Pellegrini

Bet 3: Back Chelsea to win to nil @ 11/10 – KO 20:00 BST

We finish in the Premier League as Chelsea look set to not only beat West Ham, but to beat them to nil.

The Hammers were dreadful in their 2-0 home defeat to Everton last time, and their recent record away from the London Stadium is terrible. They have taken just one point from a possible 18 since their last away win, and all five of the losses were to nil.

The Blues eased past Brighton last Wednesday, recording a 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge, and that was their third home win without conceding from their last four in front of their own fans in the league.
