Hungary vs Wales
Competition: Euro 2020 qualifiers
Date: 11 June 2019
Kick-off: 20:45 CET
Hungary beat Azerbaijan 1-3 in Baku on Saturday, three important points for them, but Marco Rossi, their coach, was rather critical of their performance talking to reporters after the final whistle. He said he did not like parts of the first half, as well as the part in the second half when Azerbaijan scored (1-2), and pressured his team. Hungary made it 1-3 two minutes after Azerbaijan’s goal, so it felt a bit… excessive reading Rossi’s “complaints” about his team’s “poor parts” in the game. The Italian got sent off by the referee, and did not hide his frustration talking to Hungary’s TV, saying that “a football stadium is not a theater where you are not allowed to talk”. He insisted he did not use any foul language, he just pointed out that the referee had made a mistake giving the ball to Azerbaijan. Hungary are on six points from three matches in the group, sharing the top spot in the table with Croatia.
“We showed them far too much respect, we weren’t aggressive enough early on and we made some stupid mistakes and got punished. So there are a lot of negatives”, Wales manager Ryan Giggs told reporters after his team’s 2-1 defeat in Osijek on Saturday, to Croatia, The Welsh were 2-0 down early in the second half, that goal they scored came in the 77th minute, they had time to salvage a point, but truth is, they did not deserve one. Giggs also said they have to look much-much better in Budapest if they are to earn at least one point from these two June matches. They are on three from two games in the group.

Hungary vs Wales: Prediction
Wales are given a slight advantage to win the game, but I would be surprised if they left Budapest with all three points.
