Greece vs Armenia
Competition: Euro 2020 qualifiers
Date: 11 June 2019
Kick-off: 20:45 CET
There are bets you lose because of details, which still hurts, but… if it’s a penalty in added time and a 1-1 in a game that should have ended 4-0, at least you know your idea was good. Then again, there are bets you lose because you totally-totally misread a game, and there are no excuses there. For some reason, I believed in Greece to produce a surprise on Saturday, when they hosted Italy. In the first five minutes, it was clear I had totally “misread” the game. Greece for destroyed by Italy in the first half, conceded three goals between the 23rd and the 33rd minute, ended up losing 0-3, and should feel super lucky not to have conceded five or six goals. To put it mildly, they were a joke (and that is the mildest way I could put it), an utter and ridiculous joke, a team that based on how they appeared on Saturday, have no place in the Euro finals. Their coach, Angelos Anastasiadis, is being… crucified by the Press these days, and given his hard to believe choices on Saturday, you can’t really blame the Press… Greece can still finish second, Bosnia and Herzegovina are in crisis, Finland are decent, nothing special though, but even in this super “manageable” group, this Greece feels “small” to finish second.
Armenia did well on Saturday at home, beating Liechtenstein 3-0. They were 2-0 up by the 18th minute, they… took it easy after that, and only scored the third goal in added time. First points in the group for them, which gave them the right to continue dreaming in the… miracle. As previously mentioned, Greece look pathetic, Bosnia and Herzegovina are in crisis, Finland are better than in previous years but still nothing spectacular, so… why not? A couple of positive results, and Armenia could be a candidate for the second spot in the final table.

Greece vs Armenia: Head to head Stats
Greece have hosted Armenia just once before, in the Euro 2004 qualifiers; back then, they beat them 2-0.
Greece vs Armenia: Prediction
Despite how much of a B-class team Greece looked on Saturday, betting on Armenia’s double chance is risky. I really like their 1.5 handicap, though.
Greece vs Armenia: Betting Tips
Armenia’s 1.5 handicap is at 1.55, for those who are ok with smaller gains taking smaller risks. The visitors’ double chance pays 2.75, risky, but… paying so well that it’s actually worth it.Do you want daily and profitable Betting Tips?
