Corinthians vs CSA
Competition: Brazil Serie A
Date: 14 July 2019
Kick-off: 21:00 CET
Corinthians have gotten the job done, more or less, at home, since the start of the season, beating Chapecoense and Sao Paulo, and drawing with Gremio. They have played just three games at home (their match against Goiás was postponed), and are yet to concede. It’s that home record they want to build on, hosting CSA, one the weakest teams in the league. Coach Fábio Carille is expected to have Cássio, Fagner, Manoel, Gil, Danilo Avelar, Ralf, Júnior Urso, Pedrinho, Sornoza, Clayson and Vagner Love in the starting lineup. Romero, Corinthians’ Paraguayan winger, a guy who was one of their main figures last season, has hardly appeared in 2019, his contract expires today (Sunday), he’s departing, and one of the last things he did was go to the club’s official store on Friday and buy 17 official shirts.
Things changed a lot these last weeks at CSA, which felt… necessary, given that nine game weeks into the season they are below the relegation line, second-to-last, on just six points. Argel Fucks is their new coach, and seven players joined the squad, with four of them traveling to Sao Paulo for this game, their first after the Copa América break. Fucks didn’t try to hide his ideas regarding the starting lineup; Jordi, Celsinho, Allan Costa, Luciano Castán, Rafinha, Nilton, Naldo, Jonatan Gomez, Apodi, Ricardo Bueno and Alecsandro, these should start for CSA. Striker Alecsandro just moved to CSA, this will be his debut, as his papers were ready a few days ago. Fucks expects him, with his experience and past presence at big clubs, to lead by example. CSA may be below the relegation line, but the season is still young, and the first teams above the line are no more than two points away.

Corinthians vs CSA: Head to head Stats
Corinthians have never hosted CSA before.
Corinthians vs CSA: Prediction
The hosts are considered big favorites to win the game, something I agree with.
Corinthians vs CSA: Betting Tips
Given that a simple Corinthians win pays just 1.30, I would risk combining it with “under 2.5 goals”, at 2.35. I do see them win, but I doubt they’ll… run wild, no matter if they are hosting one of the weakest teams in the league.Do you want daily and profitable Betting Tips?
